Misty May
Misty May left the US (indoor) national volleyball team in 1999
and joined veteran Holly McPeak
on the beach. Despite their relatively late start, they
qualified as America's
second women's beach volleyball team for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
In 2001, she teamed with Kerri Walsh.
She was Player of the Year at Long Beach State (1997 & 98).
LBSU was undefeated in 1998.
