Linda Hanley


Linda Hanley tried to qualify for the 2000 Olympics with Nancy Reno, but they finished fifth in qualification points among American teams.

Linda (with her partner Barbra Fontana) qualified for the Olympic Beach Volleyball competition by winning the U.S. Trials. They were the top-seeded team in the qualifier, by virtue of their performance in international events sponsored by the FIVB. They finished in fourth place at the Olympics, the highest finish among the US women.

Linda has played professionally since 1987. She played collegiately at UCLA, where she was a three-time All-American. She was born in Laguna, CA, and stands 5'9".
